Tucan trio, which consisted of Hagai Rehavia(Guitar), Amir Milstein (Flute), and Joca Perpignan (Brazilian Percussion and voice), was formed in 1998 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

These three musicians, who shared a great curiosity, respect and love for Brazilian music have been presenting during a period of 13 years of activity, an innovative interpretation of various compositions from the Brazilian repertoire, along with their own original compositions.

While cruising through an endless variety of styles and cultures, Tucan's concerts covered miles and years of Brazil's music - from the Chorinho of the early 20's, through the African roots of the Samba, Afoxe and Baiao, to the well- known Bossa Nova and compositions of contemporary Brazilian
